We’re back!
Good lord, I needed to get out of that contraption! I get to see Grandma, Macy, Madeleine and Max and Elle very often now. I am now in a different place and unsure how I feel about this place though it has some familiar smells, but I am still on a leash, with her telling me to ‘go potty’ I also had to go to some classes, still skeptical about what the hell is going on!
I didn’t stay anywhere with cats again, that’s probably a good thing. I got to meet two more pups, MJ and Bradley, they were quite a bit smaller than me, and not too playful, but they were nice and shared their space with me! We still did a lot of the same, driving, stopping, walking and ‘go potty’ Lambert, UGHHH, I will when I have the perfect spot! And sometimes I had my own bed and we had company too! That was one of my favorite things! I was still told every time we made it to another state; ‘Lambert, we’re in Minnesota now’! You know what… I don’t actually care where we are, just get me out of this van!

Visitors!!
Though I am not a huge VAN FAN, I like being outside all the time. I AM a dog! And I got to see Maddy again and Piper, though neither brought their dogs..why?? Madeleine still tried to make me go in the water, NO THANK YOU!, but she let me sleep with her when we had two beds, that was nice. Also we did a lot more hiking when we had visitors and when we had two beds I got to spend a lot of time sleeping, in a bed, by myself, during the day, it was so LOVELY!
Thankfully Piper did not try to make me swim nor did she pick me up all the time, like Maddy does, so that was great! It felt like we did a LOT of driving when she was traveling with us. Though that means I got to lay in my bed, without any contraptions on me, so that’s a plus! I did smash Piper a few nights when we were sleeping, but I don’t think she minded!

And Visiting!
All of the house visits were amazing! My favorite toys are still the chew toy and little dino from Tamber..thank you! I loved all your couches, beds and pets! When I got to sleep somewhere other than the van I was VERY happy! I also visited more breweries and wineries and got to play in a MASSIVE dog park in Minnesota. It was so big, when I ran to play, they couldn’t even see me, I was very sneaky!
The Details!
I visited 38 states, which apparently is a lot. Unfortunately I don’t have a count on how many dogs I got to meet, but likely close to 38! I went to many restaurants and ate a lot of chicken and a few hamburgers, which was another one of my favorite things to do. My least favorite was when we were on another contraption that went on the water, actually puked on one… sorry, not sorry! It was too fast and choppy! And I wasn’t the only one, some humans got sick too! (Though not mine.)

Wrapping up!
WOW, looking at this list, that is not close to everything we actually did, I realized we were busy! Sometimes it seemed so boring, and many of these things did not appeal to me. I did get my way 90% of the time, especially when it was just she and I, it’s the look. You know, the sad puppy dog eyes, works all. the time! There were lots of walks, lots of ‘ go potties’, lots of dog playing, treats, good food, squirrel and rabbit chasing too! My food consumption got better, it had to, with all the walking, I got hungry! I still NEVER slept when she was driving, and I mean to this day! I will NEVER sleep in a car, on a boat or in a van; not while it’s moving anyway!
Not much of my daily life changed. We hiked and drove, and thankfully we had a few more home stays and some where we didn’t stay with people. In these situations I usually had my own bed, but I still jumped to hers to sleep, which I think she liked. We spent most nights in the ‘contraption’, which is home now; I guess. It’s not too bad, cozy and comfy most of the time.

I keep eavesdropping and it sounds like this weird life is not going to be forever. Hope to see you all soon, when I am not living in a van!
Loved the way you ended your trip. You accomplished a lot!! Hugs to you and Lamburt.
